Customer service was great!

I purchased the ErgoChair 2 last year when I realized working from home was going to become my future. After using it for several months, I noticed that my chair was squeaking too often and annoying during online meetings. Talking with some of my friends that have also purchased the chair, they told me they were not experiencing the same problems as me.
I reached out to Autonomous and after sharing videos of my problems, they were able to send me new parts to fix the squeaking noises.
Their customer service was great! A delay in some emails but they apologized and let me know in the email that they were experiencing a large volume of requests.
Overall, their customer experience was great just like their products. From my experience alone, I would recommend Autonomous to anyone looking to upgrade their office set up.

Product good, shipping bad.

The product itself is great and customer service is decent too but the shipping was bad. They forgot to ship my table legs and only shipped my top but then they cancelled both shipments so I had to wait an extra week to get both my legs and top which was kind of annoying.

Great Smart Desk

This is an excellent choice. Motor is less noisy and the desk is easy to raise and lower. The quality of the materials is top notch. I had a logistics issue where the frame is delivered but the top wasn't and its been hard to find the support team. After a long wait, got in touch with great support who not only took care of delivering it sooner but also offered some discount and they did honor my request to replace with a better top made of Bamboo that actually costs an additional $50. I can understand that logistics is taking a hit during Covid. Overall a great experience.

Not made for tall people

I ordered the MyoChair with Headrest & Legrest.
Positives:
Shipping took only three days (NL to GER) and the quality of the chair is very good. With the exception of the headrest, the chair is very comfortable.
Negatives:
The size information on the website is not correct. According to the website, the chair is suitable for a size up to 193cm. I am 192 and the headrest presses against my shoulder blades when it is on the highest level. The headrest is removable, but I ordered the chair because of the headrest, so that is not an option.

Avoid, At least during the UK Lockdown

I ordered a chair on the 16th of December. Decided to get the Kinn Chair from their website instead so emailed them. They were quick and helpful when it came to changing the order and getting me to pay for the difference. They said that delivery was estimated end of January.
Mid January I get an email that says that the chair is ready to be shipped but stuck in the Netherlands due to lockdown restrictions and Fedex not being able to ship it. I'm confused as to why they couldn't find another solution. It says we expect the chair will be with you mid February. Then today I get yet another email saying that the chair is delayed, and will not reach me between March 26th to March 30th!! The WHOLE reason why I purchased this chair was because I have a bad back and needed to use it during lockdown. This basically means I would get it AFTER lockdown, which defeats the point of me getting it in the first place. They sent me a link to show me how to cancel my order but following the steps the cancel button that they describe and show in their tutorial video is not there.
I'm now waiting for them to reply to my email requesting a cancelation, but thanks for wasting my time.
I initially went for this brand because my partner has one of their chairs and is happy with it. But I don't think I will ever purchase anything from Autonomous ever again. I don't think blaming it all on lockdown restritions is the right thing to do.
Edit: they did cancel my order, the refund should arrive in the next few days. We’ll see if that goes okay.
Regardless of that it still doesn’t excuse the complete lack of communication. And also as someone pointed out in a previous review, saying that FedEx can’t ship to the UK in their email when it’s not FedEx but actually an issue with them and their tax registration that’s causing their issue. Next time maybe be honest with your customers so they can decide whether or not they would like to wait 3 months for merchandise.
I just ordered a chair from a different company and it’s arriving today. I ordered it two days ago. That’s good customer service.

Extremely long wait time & no response from customer sercvice reps.

I'd like to be able to review the chair I've ordered (Ergochair 2) as i work from home since last march and the cheap chair I've had for years is now in bits and painful to sit in for long periods of time. (I sit for 10+ hours x5 days).
I ordered on the 13/01/21, they replied to me saying i needed to verify the transaction before they could take payment, did that and then on the 15/01 i got an email saying my order was ready to ship but cant because of UK restrictions and that FedEx cant ship from the Netherlands to Ireland due to this but that they're "working with other partners to find a solution" as of today 02/02/21 still no update and I've emailed them 3 times now requesting an update to no response, i tried again this morning so will await that too i guess.
I expected some delays sure but this is a joke and the customer service has been non existent so far, funny how they'll get in touch with you within an hour to get the payment off you when there's an issue but when you have an issue...nothing.
As a few have already said here i may have to file credit card fraud to get my money back as i have had 0 indication of even a possible shipping date so starting to feel like the company is completely fraudulent along with seeing how they apparently hide any reviews on their site that isn't 5 stars. Scum move.
EDIT: I was able to cancel my order on 04/02 easily and promptly received my refund the following day (great!) and was advised the order was cancelled (in writing). But as of 04/03 a package came for me (chair) which i assumed was my Secret Labs chair that i ordered once i got my refund as it was due around this time. However it was the "cancelled" autonomous order. Now i'm not sure how this happened as i cancelled it a month prior but out of good faith i decide to advise of their mistake rather than (as some people might) keep quiet about it. I email them the same day but hear nothing back until this morning (09/03), where the courier driver who delivered it arrives unannounced to collect said item for a return. Then proceeds to tell me that the (unopened & untouched btw) item doesn't have the correct labeling for a return ship so therefore cant take it for me and that i have to request the labeling from the company. Now i don't know about anyone else but this is getting on my nerves at this point and the audacity to have not even responded to me to advise me the courier would pick it up is outrageous IMO. Joke of a company, you make a mistake in sending me the order i cancelled already and then when i am in good faith actively trying to return said item to you i get nothing but hassle and not the courtesy of an email. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! I also have read multiple sources that they block anything that is not 5*'s on their website which is shady as hell aswell.
